BRET R. CARTER handles estate planning and probate matters as well as real estate, business and corporate transactions. He earned his B.S. from Iowa State University (1982) and his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law (1987) where he was a member of The Order of Barristers and The Moot Court Board. Mr. Carter was awarded the American Bar Association Young Lawyer Award Achievement (1990) and is a former member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Board of Governors. He is a member of State Bar of California, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Carter also has significant business and real estate expertise as reflected in his memberships in the Los Angeles Venture Capital Association and the Apartment Owner’s Association of Greater Los Angeles. He is also active in numerous community affairs groups including Rotary Club of Santa Monica.
